Design, build, test, and maintain enterprise applications and integrations for VA healthcare modernization. Lead API, middleware, messaging, and data exchange solutions using HL7/FHIR/REST, evaluate AI-generated interface outputs for accuracy, define integration standards and governance, ensure federal security and compliance, support migration/modernization, recommend integration technologies, and produce technical documentation and troubleshooting across the system lifecycle.

Lead infrastructure architecture and modernization for VA health systems, designing secure hybrid cloud and on‑prem solutions, migrating legacy VistA/MUMPS environments, validating AI-generated infrastructure outputs for compliance, and coordinating with cybersecurity, DevSecOps, and program teams to deliver resilient, highly available, and compliant infrastructure solutions.

Lead and deliver AI-powered modernization projects for VA healthcare by coordinating AI/ML engineers, DevSecOps, legacy system specialists, and agile teams. Manage integrated plans, sprints, risks, ATO/FedRAMP activities, and stakeholder communications to ensure compliant, on-time modernization and VA adoption.

Lead technical customer engagements and guide cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy enterprise-scale AI solutions. Provide architecture and program leadership for LLMs, RAG, ML, and cloud-native systems; establish engineering standards, CI/CD, observability, and AI governance; mentor engineers and support business development.

Lead customer-facing design, development, and deployment of AI-enabled software solutions. Translate stakeholder needs into scalable architectures, build production-quality code and APIs, implement CI/CD and observability, and mentor engineering teams. Drive solution discovery, technical leadership across projects, and adoption of modern AI/ML and DevOps practices to deliver mission-critical outcomes.

Lead enterprise architecture for the VA Health Portfolio: develop solution blueprints, conduct workflow and technology assessments, create current and future-state system design artifacts, define interfaces and data exchanges, translate product strategies into implementation requirements, promote DevSecOps practices, update technology roadmaps, and advise stakeholders to optimize IT investments and sustain production systems.

The Automation Team Analyst evaluates workflows to identify automation opportunities, develops AI prompts, and documents workflows to enhance efficiency in operations.

Serve as Scrum Master for Agile teams modernizing VA healthcare systems. Facilitate Agile ceremonies, coach teams on Scrum/Kanban/SAFe, remove impediments, manage backlogs, track sprint metrics, coordinate cross-functional dependencies, support release planning, and use tools like Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps to drive delivery.

The Automation Team Engineer develops, implements, and maintains automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and reporting for the OMEGA program.

Lead design and delivery of enterprise solution architectures modernizing VA healthcare systems. Integrate legacy VistA/MUMPS systems with cloud and modern platforms, evaluate AI-generated technical outputs, define interoperability and integration patterns, ensure security and compliance, produce architecture artifacts, and provide technical leadership across engineering and delivery teams.
