Owns day-to-day database operations and backup/recovery for a large multi-account AWS environment. Maintains RDS, Aurora, and self-managed databases, validates backup restoration, executes disaster-recovery runbooks, and collaborates with infrastructure, security, Kubernetes, networking, and cloud architecture teams. Supports escalations from a 24x7 monitoring team and helps advance managed services and Cloud Center of Excellence capabilities.
