This is a temporary, highly operational role requiring four days weekly in the New York City office through December 2026, with possible extension.

The Account Executive will drive new business growth in the banking and fintech sectors, managing the entire sales cycle while engaging with senior stakeholders and developing acquisition strategies.

Lead technical pre-sales for Middesk by running technical discovery, designing integration architectures, delivering tailored demos, managing proofs of concept, responding to RFPs/security questionnaires, and handing off documented solutions to implementation teams while influencing product roadmap from customer feedback.

Own inbound growth channels (SEO, AEO, paid acquisition, website conversion). Design and run fast experiments across acquisition, conversion, and pipeline. Build analytics and reporting infrastructure. Partner with product marketing for campaign execution and distribution strategy. Spot and test emerging channels and AI-enabled workflows to drive measurable growth.

Sell Middesk's business identity platform to enterprise customers, owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to close. Build relationships with product, engineering, compliance, risk, and executive stakeholders; lead complex, multi-stakeholder deals; generate pipeline via outbound and account planning; partner with Solutions Engineering and Product to influence roadmap and ensure successful evaluations and implementations.

The Director of Growth will create and execute pipeline generation strategies, build effective marketing systems, lead a demand generation team, and work closely with Sales and Product to drive revenue growth.
