Serve as Modal’s first commercial lawyer, owning customer and vendor contracting across MSAs, orders, NDAs, DPAs, BAAs, procurement, SaaS, and consulting agreements. Negotiate directly with customers, support enterprise sales, build contract templates and playbooks, manage CLM workflows, and review operational policies and customer-facing materials. Partner with Sales, BizOps, Finance, Engineering, and Legal Operations while helping establish the company’s growing legal function.
