Teams at Modal

Develop and maintain Modal’s technical documentation architecture, content standards, style guides, and automated quality-enforcement pipelines. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to produce accurate developer content, validate code examples and prose, and innovate documentation formats and delivery channels for improved agent productivity. The role requires engineering or developer relations experience, strong technical writing or editing skills, familiarity with agentic engineering workflows, and comfort with version control, CI/CD, and testing.

Own a book of technical customer accounts, drive retention and revenue expansion, and help build Modal’s account management function. Partner with developers, ML teams, executives, Sales, Solutions Architects, FDEs, Support, and Product. Develop account plans, expand customer use cases, standardize platform adoption, translate technical needs, and provide customer feedback to product teams. The role requires strong commercial instincts, technical fluency, hands-on AI experience, ownership, rapid learning, and cross-functional collaboration.

Own Modal’s talent events, internship program, career-fair presence, and university relationships. Manage programs end to end, including strategy, recruiting timelines, project scoping, mentorship, budgets, vendors, employee ambassadors, and post-event reporting. Partner closely with recruiting, hiring managers, marketing, universities, bootcamps, and community organizations to build scalable programs that improve hiring outcomes and candidate experiences.
