Lead and manage the Special Investigations Unit to detect and prevent fraud, waste, and abuse. Oversee intake, investigations, reporting, recoveries, policy updates, audits, and coordination with regulators and law enforcement.

Participate in Molina Healthcare's internship program to gain experiential learning and formal training in healthcare business. Follow company policies, maintain attendance, protect member confidentiality and HIPAA compliance, and build positive relationships with coworkers, clients, members, and providers.

Provide entry-level support for claims by entering denials and appeals, researching issues, obtaining medical records, preparing and sending response letters, escalating appeals, generating denial letters, coordinating with provider and member services, and maintaining appeals/grievances reporting.
