Requires strong fund finance or credit ratings expertise, quantitative analysis, credit judgment, advanced Excel modeling, communication skills, and familiarity with credit methodologies.

Analyze U.S. residential mortgage-backed securities transactions for credit ratings, assessing collateral, deal structures, credit enhancement, and legal frameworks. Present findings to rating committees, perform sensitivities and stress testing, support models and criteria enhancements, and publish market commentary. The role also involves collaborating with senior analysts and engaging bankers, issuers, investors, and other market participants.
