The Staff Software Engineer will lead the development of a Civic Engagement product, establishing engineering practices and overseeing technical strategy across multiple teams and systems while ensuring product reliability and security.

Lead end-to-end data science projects including predictive modeling, algorithm design, and data pipelines. Build campaign-focused models (turnout, partisanship), perform exploration and visualization, translate insights into memos/presentations, collaborate with engineering to productionize models, mentor junior data scientists, and prototype emerging AI solutions for product impact.

The Data Success Manager supports partners’ data needs for civic engagement campaigns. Responsibilities include understanding partner requirements, establishing relationships, managing data processes, resolving data issues, coordinating vendors and technology partners, recommending data improvements, and supporting efficient database operations. The role requires SQL, Python or similar scripting, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience with voter data, PII, data quality, stakeholder training, and BI tools is preferred.
