Leads NYCEDC’s policy research agenda, directing complex economic and policy studies from research design through analysis and communication. Advises agency and City leadership, conducts comparative policy research, supports legislative priorities, builds cross-agency partnerships, and translates evidence into actionable strategies. Represents the organization with policymakers, researchers, businesses, communities, and the public. Manages high-priority initiatives, project execution, presentations, publications, and data requests.

Leads advanced econometric, microsimulation, forecasting, causal inference, and policy-impact modeling for NYC policies and investments. Develops reproducible R-based analytical workflows, validates models, analyzes complex datasets, and communicates findings to technical and nontechnical stakeholders. Oversees complex research projects, mentors staff, collaborates with agencies and external partners, and translates quantitative results into policy recommendations.

Supports NYCEDC’s marketing efforts across planning, operations, content, and creative functions. Responsibilities include developing engagement plans, coordinating marketing workflows, editing websites, creating email campaigns and presentations, writing audience-specific content, promoting internal events, and supporting multimedia and design projects. The role requires strong communications, project management, digital marketing, and content development skills, with at least five years of relevant experience and prior time away from the full-time workforce.
