Teams at New York City School Construction Authority

Lead and manage a broad range of HR functions including recruitment, classification, benefits, labor relations, payroll/timekeeping, compliance, and employee relations. Provide guidance to managers, represent the Authority in hearings and negotiations, develop recruitment and classification strategies, prepare confidential analytical reports, and manage HR administrative processes.

Perform frequent on-site safety inspections of NYC school construction and renovation projects; identify and enforce corrective actions; review site safety plans, training records, permits; respond to incidents; issue compliance notices or stop-work orders; participate in safety meetings and training development; support implementation of safety policies.

Conduct and coordinate management, operational, and financial analyses; prepare formal analytical reports for senior management; develop methodologies and analytical models; recommend and implement policy and procedural changes; coordinate departmental and Authority-wide special projects; direct staff or contractors as needed and ensure accuracy of the Authority Manual of Policies and Procedures.
