The Senior Interconnection Engineer will manage utility interconnection applications, provide subject matter expertise, conduct project analyses, and mentor new engineers, driving innovation in renewable energy designs.

Analyze and improve reliability, availability, and performance of Nexamp's PV and BESS fleet. Diagnose protection, inverter, transformer, and control issues; perform root-cause analysis; optimize protection settings and control strategies; lead data-driven reliability and loss-reduction efforts; coordinate with utilities, OEMs, and cross-functional teams; and develop fleetwide monitoring, diagnostics, and performance standards.

Lead electrical review and design for utility-scale solar and storage projects: review shop drawings, perform ETAP/AmpCalc modeling, coordinate protection and fault studies, manage 3rd-party engineers, support interconnection, commissioning, construction, and lifecycle support, mentor junior engineers, implement process improvements and SOPs, and provide technical guidance across Development, EPC, and O&M.
