Corporate Counsel will draft and negotiate commercial agreements, support US and UK sales teams, manage vendor contracts, advise on product design, compliance, data protection, corporate governance, and contracting models. The role will maintain legal templates and review guides, improve legal processes, and provide practical business-oriented advice across the organization. This is a remote position requiring a JD, state bar membership, and at least two years of legal experience.

Acquire and close new partnerships with ISOs, agents, fintech companies, and merchant account resellers across an assigned U.S. territory. Responsibilities include outbound prospecting, pipeline management, quota attainment, partner evaluation, negotiations, objection handling, industry research, communicating product value, and maintaining accurate Salesforce sales records. The role requires building relationships with partner executives and identifying opportunities that drive profitable revenue growth.

Build and maintain NMI's bank-to-bank payment systems: public APIs, internal tools, and third-party integrations. Design and develop services in Scala, TypeScript, and C#, apply TDD, own production quality and incidents, work with AWS containerized microservices, messaging, data stores, and CI/CD. Use AI-first tools to accelerate development, participate in agile processes, refactor large codebases, and collaborate with product and SRE to deliver resilient payment features.
