The part-time remote contractor will partner with hiring managers across operations, customer happiness, curriculum, marketing, and camp delivery to fill priority openings efficiently and respectfully.

Design and fabricate hands-on STEM projects in robotics, engineering, woodworking, electronics, and digital fabrication for children ages 3–12. Create interdisciplinary, story-driven learning experiences, communicate designs to teachers through multiple channels, and train educators to safely use tools, machinery, and projects. The role requires applying child-development knowledge, gathering user feedback, and developing scalable educational experiences across NORY campuses.

Prepare, sort, assemble, and pack STEM, arts, crafts, and engineering project kits. Maintain a clean, safe, organized inventory workspace; count materials; and assist with localized shipments, deliveries, and pickups. The role requires learning basic hand and power tool operation, strong organization, attention to detail, communication, problem-solving, physical stamina, and the ability to lift over 20 pounds. No prior warehouse or fabrication experience is required.

Serve as the CEO’s proxy and execution partner, translating priorities into action plans and ensuring follow-through across the organization. Manage CEO scheduling, information flow, travel logistics, and communications while driving cross-functional initiatives, leadership accountability, hiring pipelines, onboarding systems, customer experience escalations, SOPs, reporting, and planning rhythms. The role requires high-agency decision-making, strong judgment, operational discipline, empathy, adaptability, and the ability to build scalable systems in a fast-paced, in-person environment.

Lead and supervise children ages 3–12 during school break day camps. Counselors guide campers through STEM activities, coordinate engaging programs, maintain a safe and welcoming environment, and support campers’ educational and personal development. The role requires availability for select school breaks and school-closure days, with schedules from 7:30 AM to 4:15 PM and optional extended care.

Facilitate engaging STEM activities and birthday celebrations for children in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Create memorable, educational experiences, manage activities and behavior, handle materials, maintain punctuality and professionalism, and support smooth event operations. Additional opportunities may include after-school classes, holiday camps, special events, and enrichment programs.

Lead a summer camp site for children ages 3–12 by coaching and training counselors, supporting campers and families, managing daily operations, maintaining administrative records, and teaching activities when needed. The role requires managing a team of at least four teachers, building family relationships, and having five or more years of teaching experience.

Designs, maintains, troubleshoots, and optimizes Airtable and Zapier automation workflows for program management. Responsibilities include automating attendance, staffing, and KPI processes; documenting systems; resolving integration issues; identifying operational bottlenecks; training internal users; and supporting scalable workflow improvements in a remote environment.

Leads school-break day camp sites for children ages 3–12, teaches engaging activities, coaches and mentors educators, supports campers and families, manages materials and facilities, oversees schedules, and maintains accurate administrative records. The role requires managing a team of at least four teachers, building family relationships, and preferably having more than four years of teaching experience with children ages 3–13.
