Design, integrate, validate, and optimize complex motion products and systems. Translate customer needs into technical requirements, support system architecture decisions, mitigate technical risks, execute verification and validation activities, resolve complex technical problems, and provide technical guidance and mentoring to cross-functional engineering teams. The role supports customer engagements, supplier visits, product development, and cross-site collaboration, with travel up to 30%.

Design and build Snowflake transformation layer and migrate legacy SQL to versioned dbt models. Define conformed dimensions/facts using Kimball principles, set modeling and CI/CD standards, implement data quality/lineage, support BI migration and AI/ML readiness, and mentor future hires. Hands-on work in dbt, SQL, and Python with stakeholder collaboration and governance for financial and operational data.

Own Novanta's Salesforce ecosystem: define roadmap, lead architecture and integrations with ERP/marketing/billing systems, drive adoption and governance, partner with business leaders, and manage a high-performing CRM team.

Manage and grow Novanta's Robotics & Automation channel in North America by developing channel strategy, onboarding and training partners, negotiating contracts/pricing, building partner business plans, tracking performance in Salesforce, and driving revenue growth through distributor and OEM relationships.

Lead and build a global marketing function to define positioning and the "store intelligence" narrative. Drive product marketing, demand generation, partner co-marketing, PR, analyst relations, events, and sales enablement. Scale marketing operations and build a high-performing global team to support a hardware+software platform transition.

Lead Novanta's enterprise AI vision: define strategy, prioritize use cases, evaluate foundation models, partner with engineering and data teams, oversee governance and model lifecycle, define infrastructure needs, and advise senior leadership to deliver measurable business impact.
