The role enables product teams through operating frameworks, dashboards, playbooks, tooling, and organizational transformation while aligning Product, Engineering, Design, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Operations, and executive leadership.

The Tax Consultant leads customer tax-service implementations from requirements gathering through transition to operations. Responsibilities include configuring TaxEx, analyzing tax needs, collecting legal documentation, resolving data and scope issues, monitoring project milestones, and guiding customers through implementation. The consultant partners with deployment and internal teams, conducts customer checkpoints, ensures accurate federal, state, and local tax setup, and drives customer satisfaction.

Maintains customer tax profiles across multiple systems, processes payroll tax data updates, manages cases and tasks, researches discrepancies, and supports accurate filings, funding, payments, reconciliation, and reporting. The role handles customer inquiries, coordinates escalations, documents resolutions, uses Excel and Power BI for analysis, meets service-level standards, and protects confidential information. It requires knowledge of U.S. payroll tax concepts, strong organization, attention to detail, and effective communication.
