Teams at Peraton

Develops and delivers nontechnical training programs through live web-based classes, seminars, coaching, workshops, and e-learning. Creates instructional outlines, tests, teaching aids, training videos, and evaluation criteria. Identifies employee development needs, consults with stakeholders, coordinates vendors, monitors training budgets, and maintains existing training content. The role is fully remote with occasional in-person domestic and potentially annual international classes.

Provides Tier I and II technical support for software, hardware, and network issues. Diagnoses problems, guides users through solutions, prioritizes support requests, provides technical information and training, maintains network diagrams and circuit records, and coordinates with network and software teams to restore services and resolve root causes.

Monitor and investigate security alerts, conduct threat hunting, analyze network and log data, perform forensic investigations, and develop SPL queries using SIEM and EDR tools. The role supports incident response, security monitoring improvements, SOC process development, risk mitigation, reporting, and mentoring junior analysts. It requires flexibility across all shifts and collaboration with government and cybersecurity teams in a remote federal environment.
