Three-month paid internship supporting the 20th/21st Century Design department at Phillips. Duties include maintaining pre- and post-sale documents, conducting library and catalog research, writing catalogue essays, compiling appraisals/proposals to support business development, and assisting with installation, previews, and sale-day tasks. Interns will be trained in Phillips' systems and research procedures and work on-site in New York during the Fall sale season.

Support gallery operations at Park Avenue and Southampton: install/deinstall exhibitions, set up auctions and events, perform light carpentry, painting and wall repair, pack and wrap art, manage cabling and lighting, assist AV and event technicians, move/display plinths and cases, and maintain a safe, clean gallery environment.

Lead and execute media relations and press campaigns for auctions, exhibitions, and product areas. Draft press materials, manage media inquiries, coordinate events and cross-functional communications, monitor coverage, and support global PR strategy for art and luxury audiences.
