Teams at Priceline

Leads multiple software engineering teams responsible for Priceline’s flight shopping platform. Sets technology strategy, architecture, operational practices, and multi-team roadmaps while partnering with product and commercial stakeholders. Manages and develops engineering managers and senior individual contributors, drives cross-functional execution, and advances AI-enabled engineering practices. Requires extensive software engineering leadership, cloud experience with GCP and AWS, system architecture expertise, and experience managing global organizations.

Develop and enhance backend systems and REST APIs supporting high-volume travel searches. Build low-latency, high-throughput transactional services using Java, SQL, Spring, JavaScript, and Node.js. Participate in agile, cross-functional projects; collaborate with business leaders; investigate application data; maintain codebases; and contribute to continuous integration, automation testing, and cloud-based applications.

Leads customer-care implementations from planning through readiness, launch, stabilization, and transition. Owns train-the-trainer strategy, trainer certification, partner-site readiness, launch support, performance measurement, and continuous improvement across Flight, Hotel, and Rental Car services. Evaluates organizational readiness, coordinates cross-functional stakeholders and outsourced contact centers, manages risks and dependencies, and ensures successful training deployment and operational handoff. Flight servicing expertise is central to the role.
