Ensure DOHMH compliance with NYC Open Data Law by coordinating publication of public health datasets to the City Open Data portal. Engage stakeholders, liaise with IT, legal, communications, and OTI, prepare and review data and metadata, ensure confidentiality and machine-readable formatting, automate updates with IT, maintain governance tracking and documentation, respond to public inquiries, and support data governance operations and data use agreement processes.

Provide customer service and case navigation for birth and death certificate amendments across in-person, mail, phone, and online channels. Review and process applications for completeness and compliance, research records, resolve discrepancies, support financial reconciliation and QA, document interactions, and assist with process improvements and system testing. Maintain confidentiality, support lobby operations, and work non-business hours during emergencies as needed.

Provide customer-facing case navigation and administrative support for vital records services, reviewing applications, processing documents, managing records retrieval, supporting burial desk inquiries, tracking escalations, ensuring records confidentiality, and contributing to records modernization and process improvement efforts.

Lead Salesforce-focused systems analysis and implementation for partner management and performance applications. Translate public health workflows into technical requirements, coordinate stakeholder meetings, configure Salesforce features, develop reports/dashboards, manage data quality, and support rapid deployment of high-priority initiatives.

Manage and design the Public Health Laboratory's LIS/LIMS workflows and interfaces; oversee implementation and enhancements; manage grants and contracts; supervise staff performing queries, reporting and data analysis; develop SOPs and ensure timely, accurate reporting; participate in quality systems and maintain activity records. Position requires occasional non-business hours during emergencies and is grant-funded through November 2027.

Provide in-person enrollment assistance for Aged, Blind, and Disabled (ABD) clients: educate on benefits, collect documentation, complete electronic applications (NYSOH/EDITS/Bluemark), conduct outreach, tabling and home visits across NYC, and offer bilingual (Spanish) support. Attend mandatory trainings and assist managers on special projects.

Edit and proofread agency materials for clarity, accuracy, and accessibility; enforce plain language and inclusive framing; copyedit citations in AMA Style; collaborate with Creative Communications and support emergency communications as needed.
