The Staff Data Engineer will lead financial data operations, ensuring accuracy and reliability of data pipelines, while collaborating with Finance, Product, and Engineering teams to enhance systems and decision-making processes.

Lead reinsurance accounting, reporting, reconciliations, controls, and month-end close. Manage reinsurance reporting to brokers, reinsurers, auditors, and regulators. Improve processes, automate reporting, maintain statutory and GAAP compliance, and develop the reinsurance team while partnering cross-functionally.

The Senior Engineering Manager leads the Data Platform team, overseeing data engineers, managing data pipelines, and driving Root's data strategy across business functions.
