The role partners with estimating, project management, operations, and field teams; develops time impact analyses and schedule narratives; coaches construction staff; and travels as needed throughout the greater New York metropolitan region.

Leads commercial construction projects from pre-construction through execution, developing purchasing strategies, coordinating with estimating and purchasing teams, maintaining project schedules with the superintendent, monitoring financial performance, and managing relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and design partners. The role also includes staff leadership and development, with an emphasis on profitability, client satisfaction, and high-quality project delivery.

Leads business development, pre-construction, contract negotiations, financial controls, risk management, and execution for multiple construction projects. Guides project teams through all phases, defines and communicates project strategy, collaborates with estimating and purchasing, manages subcontractor relationships, maintains client satisfaction, and supports new business development.

Supports construction project pursuits, preparation, scheduling, reporting, and risk management across the New York region. Develops bid schedules, project baselines, logistics plans, monthly schedule narratives, recovery plans, and regional performance reporting. Collaborates with estimating, project management, field operations, and stakeholders to monitor critical paths, procurement, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and schedule impacts. Coaches construction staff and audits schedules for contractual and industry compliance.

Leads regional preconstruction strategy, proposal development, project document reviews, scheduling, constructability analysis, logistics planning, and project team engagement. Oversees preconstruction processes, systems, reporting, construction practices, and client presentations. Ensures project schedules, budgets, deliverables, permitting requirements, and commitments align with client goals and company standards throughout the transition into construction.

Supports Project Managers with construction project setup, execution, closeout, financial management, and client relationship management. Manages construction administration from pre-construction through closeout, ensures project processes and tools are established, and collaborates with clients, owners, subcontractors, and internal teams. The role requires commercial general contracting experience and flexibility to travel.

Leads preconstruction strategy and delivery for large construction projects valued at $50M–$300M. Manages RFQ/RFP pursuits, develops workplans, schedules, cost studies, logistics plans, and value-management strategies, and coordinates owners, architects, design teams, estimators, and construction management staff. Oversees preconstruction meetings, budgets, cost reporting, billing, procurement requirements, constructability, and schedule and cost performance to support on-budget, on-time project delivery.

Leads strategic preconstruction planning for complex $50M–$300M construction projects. Responsibilities include site visits, RFP and proposal planning, scheduling, logistics and phasing plans, constructability reviews, means and methods plans, risk mitigation, safety planning, CMP and NFPA 241 coordination, client presentations, and transition from preconstruction to project execution. Partners with estimating, marketing, operations, leadership, and external experts while supporting approximately 200 proposals annually.
