Owns multi-entity, multi-currency close and consolidation processes, treasury, technical accounting, tax, audits, internal controls, and stakeholder reporting. The Controller will integrate acquisitions into the ERP and accounting structure, manage FX and lender relationships, ensure international compliance, and lead accounting teams across the U.S. and Portugal. The role also partners with FP&A and finance leadership to scale systems, processes, and reporting across a private-equity-backed software portfolio.

Lead end-to-end M&A for an evergreen software holding company: develop M&A strategy, source targets, underwrite deals with financial models, manage due diligence and third-party vendors, negotiate transactions and financing, and support post-close integration and management teams.

Leads AI transformation and technology strategy across a portfolio of software companies. Responsibilities include establishing AI-first development practices, modernizing engineering organizations, setting architecture and security standards, guiding technical roadmaps, recruiting technical leaders, creating AI-native ventures, and leading technical due diligence and integration for acquisitions.
