Leads the design, development, support, and performance tuning of Java/J2EE web applications and backend systems. Provides technical guidance, mentors developers, interfaces with databases using SQL and PL/SQL, troubleshoots issues, participates in code reviews, and collaborates with business and IT stakeholders. The role spans the full software development lifecycle and may involve microservices, cloud services, CI/CD, automation, and financial data systems.

Provides executive protection for company leadership during domestic and international travel, plans secure trips and events, conducts risk assessments, reviews executive calendars, maintains security protocols and threat databases, and supports corporate security, investigations, building operations, conferences, and incident management. Requires daily on-site presence in New York and travel as needed.

Leads the design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable Java applications and distributed systems for an indices prototyping platform. Responsibilities include building microservices, using AWS cloud services, implementing containerization, improving performance and reliability, developing user interfaces, fixing defects, maintaining code quality and automation, and mentoring junior engineers.
