Squarespace Offices

Serve as the FP&A business partner for Engineering, Product, and R&D. Own planning, forecasting, monthly close, variance analysis, and executive reporting. Build frameworks to track AI and cloud costs, evaluate initiative ROI, monitor efficiency metrics, and forecast global R&D investments. Partner with technical teams and FinOps to optimize infrastructure spending, improve cost allocation, and drive reporting and process improvements.

Lead the architecture, technical strategy, and implementation of Squarespace’s large-scale Communications Platform for email, push, and in-product notifications. Provide hands-on Java development, drive modernization and reliability improvements, mentor engineers, conduct design and code reviews, identify systemic risks, and influence cross-team architecture decisions while balancing delivery with long-term platform health.

Leads the technical direction of Squarespace’s Communications Platform, driving architecture, modernization, reliability, and scalable backend services for email, push, and in-product messaging. The role combines hands-on Java development with technical leadership, mentorship, design and code reviews, cross-team architecture influence, and proactive management of performance, security, observability, and operational risks.
