Provides direct nursing care following hospital policies and nursing standards. Develops and implements individualized care plans, assesses and documents patient status, educates patients and families, collaborates with the care team, mentors colleagues, and performs point-of-care testing and other duties as assigned. Works in medical-surgical, surgery, ED, CSU, and MS/PEDS departments.

Assist pathologists by preparing and grossing surgical specimens for histology: prioritize, trim, label, process, preserve, and photograph tissues; perform gross dictation and frozen sections; assist with fine needle aspirates; maintain supplies, file slides/blocks, and perform related clerical duties under supervision.

Provide direct nursing care on a women's services unit (LDRP and Nursery): monitor patients, take vitals, assist with ADLs and procedures, support discharge, chart and communicate changes, maintain supplies, and participate in unit initiatives to ensure safe, compassionate patient care.
