Leads the Midwifery Program, overseeing administration, strategic goals, budgeting, funding, faculty and student recruitment, curriculum development, quality assurance, and program evaluation. The chair teaches, supervises clinical education, participates in university committees, collaborates with community and affiliated agencies, and serves as the program spokesperson. Scholarly activity, grant development, and professional engagement are also expected.

Provides frontline support for Brightspace and academic applications, including troubleshooting, user access, course setup, integrations, and technical issue resolution. Supports faculty and students with instructional technology, multimedia tools, classroom technology, accessibility compliance, and remote learning platforms. Conducts training, maintains documentation, tracks support activity, assists with system testing, and recommends improvements to digital learning strategies. Oversee academic and hospital design and construction projects from planning through closeout. Manage scope, schedules, budgets, procurement, contractors, consultants, construction quality, code compliance, infrastructure coordination, shutdowns, and hospital safety requirements. Prepare project documentation, financial reports, bid materials, and status updates while coordinating administrators, facilities staff, end users, and external teams.

Provides inpatient hospitalist care for adult patients, including admissions, diagnosis, treatment, consultations, discharge coordination, and collaboration with nursing and social work teams. Serves as a teaching attending for medical residents and students, providing mentoring, evaluations, and instruction. Participates in hospitalist meetings and administrative duties.

Assists with surgical procedures as a surgical technologist, supports patient care and quality improvement, evaluates staff competency and equipment, maintains instruments and supplies, precepts staff and students, and transports patients to and from the operating room.

Provides hospital case management, utilization review, clinical assessments, discharge planning, and transition-of-care coordination. Reviews medical necessity using MCG criteria, documents patient progress and delays in CarePort, completes New York State PRI assessments, coordinates skilled nursing facility authorizations, addresses readmissions, supports regulatory documentation, and facilitates communication among patients, families, physicians, social workers, nursing teams, and managed care organizations.

Leads the didactic Physician Assistant Program curriculum, ensuring alignment with ARC-PA standards and institutional requirements. Oversees curriculum design, active learning, assessment quality, accreditation compliance, and continuous improvement. Monitors student performance, academic progression, and PANCE readiness; recruits, mentors, and evaluates didactic faculty; and collaborates across program leadership to maintain continuity between didactic and clinical education.

Teach biostatistics and data science courses, mentor master's and doctoral students, provide institutional biostatistical support, and conduct focused public health research. The role requires expertise in advanced statistical methods, data analysis, modeling, causal inference, statistical learning, and potentially omics, imaging, bioinformatics, or electronic health records data. Candidates must hold a terminal degree and demonstrate extramural funding and substantial publication success.

Teach nursing courses, supervise clinical and simulation experiences, advise and evaluate students, mentor graduate research, and conduct and publish scholarly research. The role also develops a research program, supports student remediation, maintains clinical agency knowledge, and implements innovative active-learning strategies.

Provides comprehensive pediatric surgical care for inpatients and outpatients, including on-call coverage, clinic care, multidisciplinary rounds, surgery meetings, and communication with referring physicians. Supports pediatric surgery program growth, quality improvement, outreach, and team building. Supervises surgical residents, medical students, and allied healthcare trainees. Requires medical licensure, general surgery training, pediatric surgery fellowship, board certification or eligibility, and a current DEA registration.

Perform clinical laboratory testing and examinations in hematology and chemistry, operate routine laboratory instrumentation, and maintain quality control, equipment, and troubleshooting procedures. Collaborate with laboratory staff and perform additional related duties as needed.

Physician Advisor evaluates medical necessity, utilization, documentation, and hospital level of care; manages denial appeals; supports discharge planning, CDI, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and physician education. The role leads the Utilization Management Committee, monitors performance metrics, develops policies, and collaborates with clinical and administrative stakeholders. Clinical duties comprise up to 25% of the position.

Monitors and analyzes healthcare-associated infection data, investigates outbreaks and exposures, develops infection-control policies, educates hospital staff and patients, supports quality improvement, conducts environmental and patient-care surveys, reports to health authorities, and coordinates hospital-wide infection prevention initiatives.

Oversee daily virology and molecular pathology laboratory operations, including clinical testing, quality control, troubleshooting, compliance, inventory, scheduling, staff training, and performance improvement. Perform laboratory procedures, review and archive QC results, maintain statistics, coordinate administrative activities, and support timely testing. Requires a New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License, bachelor’s degree, ASCP certification or equivalent, and substantial laboratory and supervisory experience.

Performs clinical laboratory examinations and procedures in hematology and chemistry, including blood gas testing. Maintains and troubleshoots laboratory instruments, follows quality-control procedures, and collaborates on related laboratory duties. Requires a bachelor’s degree in medical technology or a related science and New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist licensure. ASCP certification and experience with Olympus and Architect instruments are preferred.

Provides executive administrative support to the Chairman and Executive Administrator of an orthopaedic surgery department. Responsibilities include complex calendar management, communication coordination, physician and trainee recruitment support, GME database administration, ACGME site visit preparation, CME and Grand Rounds coordination, time and attendance tracking, reporting, meeting logistics, and confidential departmental operations.

Provides inpatient and ambulatory obstetric and gynecologic care, supervises residents in the Labor and Delivery Suite, and teaches residents and medical students. The role also includes academic and research-related departmental services. Candidates must be board eligible or board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and hold New York State medical licensure.
