Teams at Synchrony

Owns product strategy, roadmap, backlog, and delivery for Synchrony’s Payment Hub. Leads Agile teams through requirements, testing, releases, and post-launch validation while managing dependencies, risks, vendors, and stakeholders. Applies deep knowledge of payment orchestration, ACH, cards, wires, RTP, compliance, settlement, exception handling, and controls to build scalable payment capabilities. Requires strong systems thinking, financial services product experience, and expertise in payment architectures and regulations.

Leads enterprise strategy, architecture, engineering, governance, and operations for private and public cloud platforms and infrastructure services. Builds and manages a large technology engineering organization, drives cloud modernization, establishes automation and reliability standards, oversees governance and regulatory compliance, and manages FinOps, budgets, vendors, and investment priorities. Partners with executive, security, risk, architecture, product, business, and regulatory stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-effective platforms.

Supports long-term strategy and growth planning for Synchrony’s Diversified & Value Platform. Responsibilities include assessing growth opportunities, monitoring competitive and industry trends, developing executive and board communications, supporting special projects, translating recommendations into execution plans and business cases, and evaluating M&A, partnership, and venture investment opportunities. The role collaborates extensively with business strategy, platform leadership, portfolio teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
