Owns Tern’s accounting function, including revenue recognition, P&L restructuring, unit economics, month-end close, burn management, tax exposure, commission payouts, and payment-product accounting requirements. This first accounting hire will establish the chart of accounts, controls, processes, and accounting policies for a growing fintech and SaaS business, partnering with finance and engineering while serving as the company’s accounting subject-matter expert.

Own end-to-end supplier integrations: design, implement, test, and monitor third-party APIs. Ship weekly, improve tooling and abstractions, ensure reliability, and mentor peers. Use AI-assisted workflows to speed integration development.

Own the agency product for a vertical SaaS platform serving travel agencies. Lead enterprise migrations, partner with sales and customer success on deals, manage reconciliation, booking, permissions, reporting, and back-office workflows, and expand the product into new markets. Conduct customer research, write product specifications, scope feature gaps, make technical commitments, and directly unblock engineering. The role requires close customer and prospect engagement during implementations and launches.
