Supervise and support nursing staff by implementing nursing policies, ensuring appropriate staffing, daily unit rounds, monitoring resident care and treatments, orienting new nurses and students, arranging hospital transfers, administering care as needed, and coordinating with the Staffing Coordinator and Director of Nursing to meet departmental goals.
