Build and maintain production-grade Golang backend services for an AI-driven investment platform. Design APIs and data pipelines supporting AI and reasoning systems, improve performance, reliability, and observability, review scalable architectures, and debug production issues. The role requires end-to-end system ownership, collaboration with AI and product teams, and mentoring as responsibilities grow.

Manage, coach, and develop software engineers across Reasoning and Build squads. Own performance management, career growth, hiring, onboarding, conflict resolution, and organizational effectiveness while partnering with Technical Leads and Product Managers. Remove execution blockers, use evidence to understand team performance, and help scale the New York engineering organization without unnecessary process. The role requires technical credibility but does not own architecture or technical delivery.

Leads technical direction and engineering execution, owning architecture, implementation, scalability, reliability, code quality, and technical debt reduction. Partners with Product, Design, and stakeholders to define requirements and delivery plans, mentors engineers, manages cross-functional collaboration, and communicates technical concepts to non-technical audiences. The role requires hands-on ownership of AI data workflows, production models, fintech investment platforms, market data systems, and modern cloud-native infrastructure.
