Provides phone and email customer support, processes quotes and orders, assists account managers, resolves issues, identifies sales opportunities, and supports multiple stores. Maintains product knowledge, provides technical guidance, drives sales and customer satisfaction, coordinates events, and assists with store coverage and inventory processes. Requires onsite work at least four days weekly and travel between stores or to customers as directed.

Serves customers at a Trane Supply store by identifying HVAC parts and supply needs, answering questions, preparing quotes, processing orders, recommending related products, and supporting inventory and warehouse activities. The role requires customer service and inside or retail sales experience, product knowledge, order accuracy, occasional forklift use, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

This 12-week summer internship introduces students to technical sales for HVAC equipment, services, controls, and building automation. Interns will work with sales account managers and customers, attend meetings and service calls, learn system design and application, and participate in the sales engineering process. The role develops technical, business, sales, leadership, and communication skills while providing exposure to commercial, industrial, and institutional building solutions.
