Provides employment advising and workforce development for vulnerable and high-risk youth and young adults ages 16–24. Responsibilities include vocational assessment, job development, employer outreach, job placement support, documentation, stakeholder partnerships, educational programming, participant advocacy, reporting, and coordination with social service resources. The role supports an anti-gun-violence employment program and works Tuesday through Saturday on a hybrid schedule.

Coordinates a community violence prevention program in Brooklyn by developing partnerships, organizing public safety events and workshops, attending neighborhood stakeholder meetings, supporting outreach and recruitment, securing funding opportunities, and representing the program with community organizations, residents, and city agencies. The role serves high-risk youth and communities affected by gun violence and requires strong communication, planning, crisis intervention, and collaboration skills.

Supports Group Leaders in supervising up to 20 youth, implementing engaging multidisciplinary activities, maintaining safety and facilities, serving as a positive role model, collaborating with colleagues, and completing documentation. The role requires a seasonal commitment and part-time weekday availability totaling 17.5 hours per week.
