Lead high-voltage substation physical and protection/control design for power generation, battery energy storage, and grid interconnection projects. Oversee equipment layouts, grounding, conduit and cable routing, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and protection schematics. Coordinate with engineers, project managers, utilities, and other stakeholders to maintain design quality and schedules. Support construction through constructability reviews, field markups, and as-built updates.

Leads physical and protection/control design for 34.5kV–500kV substation projects. Develops layouts, grounding designs, conduit and cable routing plans, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and protection schematics. Coordinates with engineers, project managers, clients, and field teams; reviews constructability and as-built updates; approves junior designers’ work; and provides mentoring and training.

Designs electrical systems for power generation, industrial, renewable energy, heating, cooling, and utility projects. Produces electrical drawings, wiring plans, diagrams, and layouts; performs feeder, branch circuit, protective device, and voltage-drop calculations; designs switchgear, lighting, grounding, raceways, conduits, and cable trays. Coordinates designs with other trades, reviews compliance, interprets manufacturer data and electrical diagrams, validates designs, prepares client materials, and supports personnel and scheduling plans.
