Own Volta’s US tax function, leading federal, state, and local compliance, tax accounting under ASC 740, audits, tax authority interactions, and cross-border tax matters. Develop and implement tax strategies, advise finance and legal stakeholders, monitor legislation, manage external advisors, and support financing, M&A, and corporate structuring. Build scalable tax processes, controls, calendars, documentation, and automation for a rapidly growing international business.

Supports corporate development initiatives through financial modeling, market and competitive analysis, due diligence, board and investor materials, transaction execution, and post-transaction integration. The role focuses on M&A, fundraising, partnerships, and strategic opportunities across AI infrastructure, data centers, and energy markets, while collaborating with Finance, Legal, business teams, and senior leadership.

Legal Counsel will draft, review, and negotiate commercial, vendor, procurement, customer, construction, financing, and partnership agreements. The role advises stakeholders on contractual risk, supports corporate structuring and governance, maintains contract playbooks and workflows, tracks obligations, assists with due diligence, and monitors relevant legal and regulatory developments. The position partners closely with executive, legal, procurement, delivery, and corporate development teams in a fast-growing infrastructure business.
