Whitney Museum of American Art Benefits Overview

Lead inquiry-based K-12 guided visits and studio programs, develop teacher trainings and exhibition-based resources, train freelance educators, design accessible lesson plans, and collaborate across Education teams to deliver inclusive museum learning experiences.

Provide public-facing security services at the museum: patrol galleries and lobby, enforce visitor conduct, monitor CCTV, manage crowding and safety, check packages, operate elevator, respond to emergencies, and protect art and staff. Work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, overnights, and occasional alternate locations.

Serve as strategic HR business partner to assigned departments, advise leaders on organizational design, employee relations, performance management, and change management. Use HR data to identify risks and recommend equitable solutions, support learning and development, coach managers, implement HR programs, and contribute to policy updates and cross-departmental initiatives while maintaining strict confidentiality.
