The Wisconsin Humane Society (WHS) is a private 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to making a difference for animals and the people who love them. Founded in 1879, WHS operates campus shelters and a spay/neuter clinic across Wisconsin, runs adoption and stray-holding programs that place over 10,000 animals annually, and serves roughly 40,000 animals each year through veterinary, outreach, and community services.
