At GWI we’re always looking for extraordinary people who thrive on making an extraordinary impact. Right now we’re looking for an Account Director to play a key role in our Enterprise team in New York. If that’s you, and making a difference gets you out of bed in the morning, keep reading. It could be the start of something, well, extraordinary.

Sounds great, what will I be doing? 🤔

As our Account Director, you’ll:

own GWI’s relationship with some of the top network agencies in the world, such as WPP, Stagwell, and Havas. Our ideal candidate will excel at relationship-driven opportunities, have proven sales experience with market research tools and data, and come with their own network of well-earned industry contacts.

A few things you’ll be responsible for:

👉 Own the entire revenue cycle with existing Tier 1 agency accounts – everything from renewal to upsell and expansion

👉 Identify new business opportunities within the account structure and execute well-planned, creative strategies to achieve both short-term and long-term commercial growth goals

👉 Enthusiastically present GWI product offerings with your own personal conviction and style

👉Collaborate well within a team-oriented environment - bring fresh thinking and new ideas to your team and senior leaders at GWI.
It’s also fun; shaking things up is what working for GWI is all about. You’ll need to be flexible, comfortable with continuous change, and working in a high-tempo environment.

What do I need to bring with me? 🧳

You’ll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires. You don't have to tick all the boxes right away; the important thing is that you’re willing to learn. Here’s what the team will be looking for in you:

Technical

👉 Bring demonstrated experience selling market research or working with consumer audience data in an ad agency role

👉 Strong data-driven storytelling skills that can showcase GWI’s value propositions

👉 Effective time management and organizational abilities

👉 Experience using Salesforce or other CRM tools

Competencies

👉Able to think strategically and translate big ideas into measurable results.

👉Detailed understanding of the sales cycle with a proven track record of success

👉Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities independently.

👉Ability to build trust quickly and establish credibility with senior stakeholders

Equally important is attitude. We want people who think big (to make an impact), ask why (to find a better way), and show respect (to everyone, at every level, all the time). Those are our values, and they’re a big part of what we’re looking for in you.

Why Join Us

👉 Work with the world's most influential agencies — WPP, Stagwell, Havas and more — with the data to back every conversation
👉 A seat at the table with senior stakeholders from day one, backed by data that gives you a genuine edge in every conversation
👉 Clear commercial ownership — you'll see the direct impact of your work on revenue, not just contribute to someone else's number
👉 The scope to build something — this isn't account maintenance, it's a genuine opportunity to expand and shape a portfolio

What We Offer 🧘At GWI, you’ll find meaningful work, visible impact, and a culture that empowers you to do your best. Our package includes:
  • Time to recharge – 23 days’ annual leave, paid sick days, and office closures over the holidays.
  • Health & wellbeing – Top-tier health cover with dental & vision, plus mental health and wellness support.
