Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Account Executive for 7 For All Mankind’s U.S. Wholesale business. The Account Executive is responsible for managing, growing, and strategically developing the assigned portfolio of Wholesale accounts. This role is responsible for driving sales performance, developing strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and executing the brand vision. The Account Executive is a key member of the Sales team, reporting directly to the VP, US Wholesale.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and achieve financial sales targets for account base and territory, driving consistent year-over-year growth and business momentum
  • Exceed customer profitability goals and seasonal plans
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with existing accounts, serving as a trusted business partner and primary point of contact
  • Sell in and out of market, attend and lead trade shows while managing sample coordination
  • Conduct regular account visits to review business performance, present product, identify opportunities to expand business, and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Analyze weekly selling, inventory, and account performance to identify best sellers, business drivers, opportunities, and risks, including available inventory levels
  • Monitor account performance against sales targets, seasonal plans, forecasts, and historical results; proactively communicate variances and recommended actions.
  • Understand market trends, competition, and overall state of the business, and be capable to present/communicate internally to leadership and colleagues
  • Monitor order and shipment activity and proactively identify and resolve issues that could impact sales or customer relationships.
  • Partner with customer service to proactively manage shipments and have solutions-oriented approach to resolve issues
  • Maintain and prepare samples for trade shows and customer appointments
  • Drive sales through identifying key business opportunities with accounts. Partner with Manager to establish strategies to maximize sell-in opportunities while maintaining alignment with brand vision
  • Responsible for forecasting additional business for relevant territory and accounts, weekly and monthly
  • Maintain accurate and timely account information, sales reporting, forecasts, and follow-up.
  •  Ensure a high level of responsiveness, organization, and follow-through across all account-related activities.
  • Partner with A/R to ensure to support timely payment collection and resolution of outstanding balances to ensure timely shipment of orders.
Requirements

·       5+ years of relevant wholesale sales/account management experience, preferably within contemporary fashion, denim, or premium/luxury apparel

·       Bachelor's degree preferred

·       Understanding of specialty store business and contemporary market

·       Denim experience appreciated

·       Effective communication and presentation skills

·       Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

·       Outgoing, entrepreneurial spirit, ability to cold call and develop new business

·       Highly organized with excellent follow-up and time-management skills

·       Strong business judgment and problem-solving skills with a solutions-oriented approach

·       Highly motivated; ability to take initiative to complete tasks quickly and independently

·       Intermediate Excel skills, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, PivotTables, and basic data analysis

·       Ability to travel (approximately 30 – 40%)

This a hybrid role, with 4 days in our NYC office 

PAY RATE: $90,000/yr-$100,000/yr
