Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Sales Account Executive. This position oversees the product preparation and proposal, sell-in, account administration and order transactions. This Sales Account executive position requires coordination with Logistics, Order Management, Production, and Merchandising to maximize the commercialization and brand management by retailer. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, commercially minded, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions (Including but not limited to):

  • Understand annual sales goals and develop actionable plans to achieve them.
  • Promote and grow brands and categories across both existing and new programs.
  •  Identify new opportunities to drive incremental sales.
  •  Monitor YTD sales against monthly budget and targets.
  • Understand YTD sales vs monthly budget and target sales goals needed.
  • Provide weekly account updates to team leaders and management.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of competitive price points and weekly best sellers by season and category.
  •  Develop a strong understanding of global retail landscapes and regional consumer behavior.
  •  Secure and manage all bulk buys, cost requests, and art requests across respective departments, seeing each through to completion.
  •  Run NSR + open order report daily to keep order book clean.
  • Request extensions as needed and make substitutions to mitigate any loss of sales.
  • Support on supply management, style setup, inventory tracking, and order processing.
  • Track and report international sales performance, currency considerations, and margin impacts associated with global business.
  •  Meet with planning team monthly or weekly on as needed basis and form liaison to retailers planning team.
  • Travel/ ZOOM to accounts regularly, secure market appointments, and initiate timely follow up and next
  • steps.
  • Conduct regular virtual market visits and, when necessary, travel to key international accounts for line presentations, business reviews, and relationship-building.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of company needs and operations.


Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education or experience.
  •  4 years of sales experience exceeding quotas.
  • Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office (intermediate to advanced Excel) and database systems.
  • Strong business judgement and sense of urgency and can work independently under critical time frames and work on multiple assignments.
  • Excellent negotiation and leadership skills.
  • Experience working with international accounts or working with global distributors/retailers is highly preferred.
  •  Knowledge of international logistics, compliance requirements, customs documentation.
  • Ability to navigate cultural nuances and communication styles across markets. 
  • Familiarity with currency fluctuations and their impact on pricing and margin.
  •  Experience analyzing global market trends and applying findings to sales strategies.
  •  Excellent written and verbal skills with necessary interpersonal skills to deal with various individuals and clients. 
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret data and draw valid conclusions that show understanding and insight with excellent problem-solving skills.
  •  Ability to be extremely flexible and adaptable in completing a diverse range of assignments in a timely manner, adaptable to change and have the ability to prioritize projects and workload.
  •  Experience working in a fast-paced environment and ability to apply good work habits to effectively complete assigned tasks and contribute to the smooth operation of the department and company. 
  • Ability to travel to international accounts and markets when needed.
