About the Role

CompStak is expanding our Enterprise New Business team. As an Account Executive, you'll own the full sales cycle, from prospecting strategic-named accounts to closing new logos, bringing CompStak's commercial real estate data and analytics to firms making high-stakes investment and leasing decisions.

This is an individual contributor role for a hunter who wants to build their own book of business. You'll work closely with a supportive, collaborative team, but your number is your own.

Why CompStak

CompStak is the leading crowdsourced data platform for commercial real estate, giving brokers, appraisers, and institutional investors access to lease and sale comp data they can't get anywhere else. As CRE increasingly shifts from relationship-driven guesswork to data-backed decision-making, CompStak sits at the center of that shift, and we're investing heavily in our New Business team to capture it. Joining now means getting in early on that growth, with real ownership over your territory and a direct line to shaping how the team scales.

What You'll Do

  • Own the full sales cycle for strategic-named accounts, from prospecting through close
  • Build and manage a pipeline of greenfield opportunities within Commercial Real Estate
  • Sell CompStak's CRE Data Platform to C-level executives and key decision-makers, translating our data into clear business value (efficiency gains, revenue impact, better decisions)
  • Develop a deep understanding of each prospect's business, priorities, and organizational dynamics to shape a compelling, tailored solution
  • Forecast pipeline and revenue accurately across your territory
  • Partner cross-functionally to build account strategy and close complex deals

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of closing experience in direct SaaS sales, consistently meeting or exceeding a $1M+ new business quota
  • Experience selling to Commercial Real Estate C-level executives and/or decision-makers, or strong experience selling data/analytics products into complex, relationship-driven industries
  • PropTech or CRE industry experience
  • Experience selling data/analytics platforms specifically (vs. general SaaS)
  • A track record of building a book of business from scratch (true hunter mentality)
  • Comfort navigating long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and negotiating at the executive level
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field required

This is a commission based role.

The base pay ranges provided below are for NYC Metro-based hires only and will be commensurate with candidate experience. Pay ranges for candidates in other locations other than the NYC Metro area may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.

Benefits:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k)
  • Commuter benefits
  • Long-term disability and life insurance
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Birthday day off
  • 12 weeks parental leave
  • 2 weeks Work From Anywhere in summer months
  • Weekly office lunch and breakfast
