Account Management Intern 

 

Location – hybrid: New York City 

 

Intapp is looking for an Account Management Intern to work within our FS Account Management team. You will be responsible for providing second-level business support while making decisions that have a moderate to high level of complexity. You will help Account Managers to drive new opportunities while maximizing customer benefits and adoption of our software platforms. You will support Account Managers in their effort to build and grow long-term relationships, negotiate renewals, and evolve critically important accounts into deeply engaged, strategic partners. Joining Intapp will give new team members an opportunity to work with a very talented leadership team of executives with backgrounds that include leading Wall Street firms. 

 

What You’ll Do:  

  • Work on client projects, helping with risk assessment, researching client firms, and assisting the Account Managers in their deal pursuits 

  • Become the business subject matter expert on our solutions within the team 

  • Become an expert in the use of our technology to support our customers’ goals 

  • Investigate and work with internal teams to resolve issues 

  • Assist in preparations and presentations to ensure a smooth process 

  • Coordinate internal and team resources to meet client’s needs 

  • Identify and make recommendations for business guidelines, standards, and best practices. 

  • Contribute to and maintain the support knowledge base 

  • Work on or lead projects and initiatives as requested for team members 

  • Work with AM team to identify product and service opportunities 

 

What You’ll Need:  

  • To be a self-motivated, independent thinker requiring minimal supervision 

  • An interest in a client facing role, sales, or account management 

  • Have superb interpersonal and communication skills for in-person, phone, written and electronic interaction with customers, vendors, and leadership 

  • Have demonstrated the ability to create and maintain strong, valuable relationships with customers, colleagues and external vendors 

  • Organized, and capable of juggling many tasks with varying time sensitive due dates 

  • Ability to prioritize, schedule, and manage projects 

  • To be able to analyze business requirements and trends and convert these into actionable plans 

  • To be a careful and efficient problem solver and critical thinker 

  • Have excelled in a fast paced, dynamic environment 

  • Able to interact at all levels of the organization comfortably 

  • Technically adept with a desire to learn and use new technology 

 

What to Expect:   

  • Our Summer 2026 Internship Program begins June 1, 2026, and is projected to end August 7, 2026  

  • Your professional growth and development will be supported throughout the internship program via project work related to your academic and professional interests, mentorship, and engaging events with other interns and company leadership.  

  • Our internship is hybrid, and interns will be expected in the office at least 3 days a week to get the full experience of the Intapp culture and networking opportunities.
