We are hiring an Account Manager, Emerging Accounts to join our Account Management team at EMARKETER.The Role and Team:

As an Account Manager, you will focus on ensuring customer success, retention and growth, while constantly looking for opportunities to broaden client relationships within some of our largest accounts. An Account Manager’s client book is composed of the world’s largest brands and media players. 

This is a hybrid role based out of our New York City office, with regular in-office expectations.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future. Candidates must be within commuting distance of our New York City office. Relocation assistance is not available.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day relationships within a portfolio of 30+ high-value clients, creating and executing tailored account growth strategies.
  • Consistently identify and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities by understanding client business needs, market challenges, and EMARKETER’s full product suite.
  • Proactively prospect within existing accounts to expand relationships into new departments, teams, and business units.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and navigate C-level discussions and negotiations to secure renewals and long-term contracts.
  • Maintain high levels of client engagement through regular touchpoints, business reviews, and solution-driven conversations.
  • Establish and clearly communicate the value proposition of EMARKETER, using data and insights to demonstrate ROI.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (product, marketing, customer success) to deliver value-driven solutions and optimize client outcomes.
Desired Skills & Experience:
  • 3-5+ years in full-cycle B2B account management for a subscription-based or SaaS product, with a proven track record in upselling, cross-selling, prospecting, and account expansion
  • Demonstrated success negotiating contracts and renewals with senior executives and C-level clients
  • Strong sales acumen with consistent quota attainment or overachievement
  • Experience building multi-threaded relationships to drive growth and retention
  • Prior experience in digital marketing, media, or SaaS is highly preferred
  • Dedication to client success, with the ability to translate business needs into tailored
  • Bachelor's degree required
Salary & Benefits:
  • Base salary: $75,000-$85,000 (dependent on skills, experience, and competencies)
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): $110,000-$120,000 (base + uncapped commission)
  • Unlimited PTO, 10 paid holidays, and 16 weeks of parental leave

Salary for the role is commensurate with experience and depends on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
