Job Title: Account Manager

Corporate Title: Associate Reports to: Managing Director, MEDACorp Department: MEDACorp Location: Boston

Salary Range: $70,000-$85,000

Leerink Partners is seeking an Account Manager for the MEDACorp Department who will be responsible for planning and execution of teleconferences for internal clients, and the overall coordination of MEDACorp products and services. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure in both the life sciences and financial services industries.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

· Project management:

  • Act as primary point person for Equity Research and Banking Teams: processing, and fulfilling specific requests to discuss healthcare devices or therapies with healthcare professionals within the MEDACorp network (MEDACorp consultants)
  • Project Management: Arrange phone consultations and meetings between MEDACorp consultants and clients
  • Relationship Management: Build and develop relationships with MEDACorp Consultants and members of Leerink’s Equity Research and Investment Banking teams.
  • Healthcare industry knowledge: Maintain a working knowledge of healthcare companies, therapeutics, regulatory issues, and pipeline products within the healthcare market to facilitate project research
  • Recruit new consultants to help complement the MEDACorp network based on project requests

Experience and Qualifications Required:

  • BA/BS degree required. Exposure to science, communications and/or finance strongly preferred
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant industry experience (healthcare, life sciences or finance)
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects with a keen attention to detail
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact professionally with internal management, physicians, and other biomedical professionals
  • Teamwork: ability to work in a team environment to complete client projects
  • Motivated: self-starter with ability to take initiative, think creatively, and work independently
