Opportunity

Allied Sports is recruiting an Account Manager to join our Partnership Marketing teamWe are looking for a motivated, dedicated and enthusiastic person to join our team to lead day-to-day management of a client’s music partnership. This role may also work across a Women's sports vertical. 


Responsibilities 

The position of Account Manager is client-facing and expected to maintain an in-depth understanding of clients’ businesses and forge partnerships with client-side counterparts, partners and vendors.

  • Lead day to day management of clients’ sports team and venue portfolio primarily focused on asset allocation and utilization as well as contract execution.
  • Lead development and execution of customer hosting programs. This will include, but is not limited to: preparing presentations, event materials, communications, and event briefings, recaps/reporting to be distributed to a C-Suite level audience, the client, agencies, vendors and/or other counterparts.
  • Coordinate and manage activation programming with client functional teams and relevant agency partners in connection with client's sponsorship platforms.
  • Provide strategic thinking and POVs. Specific initiatives could include asset allocation, event activation development, customer engagement, hospitality programming, media integration strategy, etc.
  • Manage client-vendor relationships and coordinate necessary deliverables on behalf of client.
  • Manage project budgets and invoicing deadlines.
  • Lead key meetings with internal & external constituents.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience across specific disciplines such as sponsorship, asset management, hospitality, customer hosting, and C-suite engagement.
  • Experience in the professional/ collegiate sports landscape or music space.
  • Ability to effectively project manage multiple deliverables under tight deadlines.
  • Proactive, self-starter with ability to think strategically and tactically; can problem solve independently.
  • Experience with on-site event management and event execution.
  • Desire and confidence to present materials to clients and C-Suite executives.
  • Excellent time management, written and verbal communication skills to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally.
  • Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (in particular PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • Able to work weekend, holiday and non-traditional hours, as required.

Considerations:

  • Hybrid schedule: Office in New York, NY with 3 days in-office (Tues-Thurs) and 2 days remote (Mon & Fri)
  • Base salary range: $80K–90K annually.

This represents the salary range that Allied Sports, in good faith, might be willing to pay for this job at the time of this posting. Actual base salary depends on several factors, including market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), and level of responsibility. Allied Sports expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Allied Sports would consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range only in truly exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials, or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position.
