Liminal is the intelligence platform for the people who build and buy the technology that keeps the digital economy safe. Our platform delivers AI-powered solutions that empower customers to assess, interpret, and respond to global market shifts, critical events, and regulatory developments. We are a Series A company of about 60 people.

About the role

Customers want more research, more data, and more time with our experts than we can serve today. Your job is to capture that demand.

As an Account Manager, you own a book of existing customers and grow it. You run renewals, sell expansions, and ensure every account buys the full range of what Liminal offers: platform, field intelligence feeds, research, and events.

This is one of a small number of commercial seats we are adding this year. You will report to the VP of Sales.

What you'll do

  • Own renewals and expansion for a portfolio of accounts, protecting revenue and growing every relationship year over year
  • Sell into existing customers: data subscriptions, field intelligence feeds, research reprints, webinars, and event partnerships
  • Follow up on and close inbound platform opportunities quickly and completely
  • Grow the number of teams using Liminal inside each account: product, strategy, marketing, and sales
  • Coordinate with Customer Success, Delivery, and our practice experts to bring the right people and the right intelligence to each customer
  • Spot at-risk accounts early and act with a clear plan well ahead of renewal
  • Keep HubSpot current: pipeline, renewal dates, forecasts, and expansion opportunities
  • Turn what works into repeatable plays the commercial team can run

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of account management, customer success, or sales experience in B2B SaaS, data, or research
  • Renewal and expansion results you can speak to specifically
  • Relentless follow-through: you close every loop and never let an opportunity go cold
  • Comfort selling to senior buyers, from analysts to executives, in enterprise accounts
  • Comfortability working with the latest AI models, including connectors and MCP services
  • Familiarity with at least one of our six markets: fraud prevention, financial crime compliance, trust and safety, cybersecurity, risk management, or payments
  • Experience at an early-stage company where you built process, not just followed it
  • Able to work hybrid from our Union Square office
What We Offer
  • $90,000–$115,000 base salary plus commission, for on-target earnings of $125,000–$150,000, with a performance bonus and equity
  • Close work with senior leadership and real ownership of your book
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage; 401(k); flexible PTO
  • Hybrid work based in Union Square, NYC
