We are seeking an Account Manager for the New York City office. The main objective of this position is to partner with clients to execute GMG’s custom content campaigns. The Account Manager will manage the entire campaign lifecycle, operationalizing internal teams to ensure brand goals and expectations are met - while providing best in class client relationship management. The Account Manager partners with the sales, influencer, design, editorial, production, product and marketing teams to manage the production, creative and performance goals surrounding campaigns. The Account Manager is responsible for building revenue and driving results in order to maintain customer retention. 

Responsibilities:

  • Operate as the lead client point of contact for robust branded content programs to ensure successful execution of the campaign
  • GMG ambassador for brand and campaign success
  • Work in conjunction with sales and brand strategy teams to gain a clear understanding of clients’ goals and objectives pre-campaign launch
  • Create and maintain all campaign documentation (including Kick off Call decks, production timelines, budget trackers, etc…)
  • Orchestrate internal teams and third party vendors to ensure a timely execution of all client and campaign deliverables
  • Develop production timelines and manage execution for custom programs, often first-of-their-kind
  • Frequently communicate with clients, providing them with relevant updates, assets for approval and performance recommendations 
  • Partner with Influencer & Talent teams to execute Influencer and/or Talent focused campaigns
  • Collaborate with internal teams to track and analyze performance, recommending optimizations for brand performance 
  • Assist with high severity client requests or issue escalations as needed
  • Effectively communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly campaigns to internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications and Expectations:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 2-4 years account management or project management experience
  • Exceptional customer service and relationship management abilities.
  • Effective and creative problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects at a time against strict deadlines and with a keen attention to detail
  • Strong project management skills 
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
