Account Manager - NEW YORK CITY
What we are looking for:
Notified is adding an Account Manager to our Account Management team. The Account Manager will be responsible for establishing an excellent working relationship with assigned clients and serve as a client advocate to ensure quality delivery of services and solutions to our Public Relations and Investor Relations Clients. The Account Manager will connect with clients regularly to deepen client relationships and find opportunities to solve client challenges and/or support their growth. You will be highly organized, an exceptional communicator, solution oriented, and have a proven track record of successfully managing and growing accounts.
Location: NYC Office 28 Liberty Street, New York, NY
This role is Hybrid. This role offers in-person collaboration 3 days a week, and the flexibility to work from home on Monday and Fridays.
Compensation: This opportunity offers a base salary of $90,000 - $100,000 plus monthly paid commission. Actual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, location and market condition. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, 401-K and paid time off.
What you will do:
Manage the overall relationship with the assigned accounts
Lead the sales process in renewals and upsell opportunities
Identify opportunities to grow the Notified portfolio of products in assigned accounts.
Locate the appropriate account buyer for renewal and upsell opportunities.
Develop, manage, and nurture relationships with accounts, increasing their affinity for Notified products, adding new contracts, and likelihood of renewals
Achieve assigned sales billing and bookings quotas
Monitor account satisfaction and identify customer problems, coordinate with Notified Customer Engagement to remedy situations
Develop and maintain up-to-date expert understanding of assigned account solutions and understanding of relevant competitor solutions
Research and actively identify emerging trends that influence Notified’s value proposition
Communicate value proposition to existing accounts
Identify and coordinate timely involvement of sales operations resources in the sales cycle to improve efficiencies
Proactively manage pipeline, input, monitor, and update opportunities in a timely fashion
What you will bring
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required with major course work in business administration, communications, marketing, or related field. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in a sales role or relevant account management role
- PR/IR experience highly preferred
- Required experience in managing account relationships, identifying additional sales opportunities, and closing deals
- Superior relationship management and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; experience delivering compelling presentations to large audiences
Willingness to travel within assigned territory, on short notice, as needed
