Key Job Responsibilities (Duties may include, but are not limited to all or some of the following)
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring clear communication, strategic guidance, and exceptional service
- Lead brand strategy development in collaboration with internal teams, ensuring alignment with client objectives and market trends
- Oversee the execution of integrated marketing campaigns, including print, digital, and multichannel initiatives
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring on-time and within-scope delivery
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among Creative, Editorial, Project Management, and Production teams to ensure high-quality execution
- Own and manage the Medical/Legal/Regulatory (MLR) review process, ensuring compliance and clear communication of feedback
- Identify and implement opportunities for account growth, including expanded services and additional client engagements
- Provide mentorship and leadership to junior account team members, fostering professional development and career growth
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities, applying insights to improve client strategy and execution
- Track and analyze financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, and profitability, to ensure strong account management
- Contribute to new business development efforts, including proposals, pitches, and strategic recommendations
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and client-specific guidelines throughout project execution

Job Qualifications (Skills/Requirements)
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in account management, preferably within medical education
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical and healthcare regulations, including medical education and MLR processes
- Exceptional client relationship management skills with the ability to build trust and drive business results
- Proven experience in managing complex, multi-channel campaigns and strategic initiatives
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in budget management, strategic planning, and financial forecasting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and solutions effectively
- Ability to travel (locally and nationally) up to 25% of the time
- Willingness to go beyond what is described in the job description and be flexible for the team, and ultimately, the work
