Position Description
The successful candidate will have accounting and management reporting responsibility for our Registered Investment Advisors (aka Management Companies). 
 

Responsibilities

General

•             Full accounting and reporting responsibilities for advisor entities

•             Daily and monthly journal entry bookings and related reconciliations

•             Extensive interaction with our fund & tax accountants

•             Extensive interaction with auditors during the year-end audit

•             Extensive interaction with offshore support team

•             Extensive Management reporting

•             Sarbanes Oxley compliance

Balance Sheet

•             Cash reconciliations and relevant journal entries

•             Inter-company Reconciliation and Settlement of outstanding balances

•             Balance Sheet review and sign-off of relevant account

Income Statement

•             Revenue booking, analysis and forecasting

•             Review of Overhead Allocations

•             Expense booking, analysis and forecasting

Reporting

•             Involvement in monthly management reporting

Experience/Skills Required

•    Accounting degree and/or strong GAAP accounting knowledge is required
•    CPA or Public accounting experience a plus
•    Strong analytical & interpersonal skills are required
•    Superior MS Excel skills are required
•    Alternative Asset Management experience is a plus
•    Management reporting experience a plus
•    Attention to detail and ability to multi-task are critical
•    Highly motivated, results-oriented individual with a real sense of urgency and commitment

•    3+ years experience

Expected annual base salary range:

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
