Our PHICOR (Public Health Informatics, Computational, and Operations Research) team is based at the City University of New York Graduate School of Public Health & Health Policy (CUNY SPH). For over two decades, PHICOR has been developing systems, artificial intelligence (AI), and other computational approaches, methods, models, and tools to help decision makers better understand and address complex systems in health. PHICOR is the engine behind the Center for Advanced Technology and Communications in Health (CATCH), based at CUNY, which advances new technology and communication approaches to help decision-making at all levels in health and public health.
PHICOR/CATCH is recruiting an Administrative Analyst to work with its founder and Executive Director, Dr. Bruce Y. Lee, MD, MBA, Professor of Health Policy and Management at CUNY SPH to help:
1. Put together and maintain different types of spreadsheets.
2. Handle the team’s timesheet processes.
3. Put together budgets and fill out forms related to the budgets.
4. Handle the reimbursement and purchasing processes.
5. Handle relevant calendars/scheduling.
6. Generate relevant reports.
7. Perform other related duties.
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED required.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred. Two years’ related experience required.
Special skills and knowledge:
• Excellent typing and accuracy skills
• Ability to operate a fax, copier, scanner, desktop computer, laptop computer, personal digital assistant, and a telephone required
• Must be proficient with personal computers
• Demonstrated knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with WorkDay highly desirable
Pay Range:
$35/hour
